Coach Joe Davis

 

 

Coach Davis played baseball and graduated from North Cobb High School in 2004.  He was named to the Georgia Dugout Club All Star Team,  a Georgia Dugout Club Player of the Week and named 1st team all region his senior year.  In 2003 and 2004 Coach Davis lead the county in homeruns.  He was a member of the 2003 Region Championship Team at North Cobb.  Davis played four years at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia.  He led the team with 13 homeruns and 55 RBI's his senior year.  He was second team all conference and named player of the week.  Davis set the Peach Belt single season record for grand slams with 3.  Davis coached one year as an assistant at Armstrong Atlantic under Joe Roberts and Calvin Culberson.  Davis is in his first year of teaching at North Cobb.  Coach Davis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is the son of Bill and Linda Davis.
