Head Coach Tom Callahan
Coach Callahan grew up in Cobb County and graduated from Pope High School where he played baseball for Marty Mazikowski and football for Bob Lord. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Social Science Education. He received his masters in School Administration from Jacksonville State and his Specialist in Educational Leadership from Georgia College and State University. After a year at Clarke Central HS in Athens, he came to North Cobb where he teaches Social Studies, primarily US History. This will be his sixteenth year at the school and in the baseball program. He is currently in his eighth year as head coach of the Varsity leading the team to the state playoffs in 2006, 2007 and 2011; to the final four in 2008; the sweet sixteen in 2010 and the elite eight in 2012. He was selected to coach in the Georgia Dugout Club State All-Star series in 2005 and again this spring. He and his wife, Heidi, have a son, Griffin, born in April 2009 and a daughter Keegan, born in November 2011.
